Electra e-Bike Recall

Electra e-bikes are currently under an active recall with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). They are deemed hazardous due to a faulty rear fender that can loosen and contact the rear wheel during operation. This can stop the bike unexpectedly, causing the rider to lose control of the bike, posing a crash hazard.

Tobias & Comer Law is currently reviewing claims due to the defective nature of the bike. If you or a loved one has been injured by an Electra E-Bike, contact Tobias & Comer Law for a free consultation to discuss your options. We can help you get the compensation you deserve for your injuries.

Affected Models:

  • Electra Navigator Go! (2021 & 2022)
  • Electra Ace of Spades Go! (2021)
  • Electra Ace pf Spades Go! (2018)

Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled e-bikes immediately and contact the manufacturer, Trek, for a free repair to replace the rear fender bolts. Continuing to use these defective bikes can result in serious accidents, injuries, or even fatalities. Contact Trek Here

In the case of the Electra E-Bike recall, individuals who have suffered injuries in a crash may be able to file claims under a special set of rules that apply to product manufacturers known as the “Alabama Extended Manufacturer Liability Doctrine” or “AEMLD” :

  • Design Defect: exists if there is a flaw in a product’s engineering.
  • Manufacturing Defect: involves a problem during the manufacturing process.
  • Failure to Warn: When a manufacturer cannot eliminate a known hazard, the manufacturer is required to warn the end user of the dangers of which it knows, or should know.

If you were injured due to an Electra e-bike, you may be entitled to compensation for:
