A recent trip to Cuba with a local organization, the Mobile Havana Society, led to a discussion about a new book and the ties that bind Mobile and Havana. 

Mobile and Havana: Sisters Across the Gulf, a new book written by local architectural historian John Sledge and others, is an account of the historic linkages between the two port cities.
